About The Position

Dematic is seeking talented Mechanical Installers to join a growing team. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on different customer projects and locations. The employee may be based anywhere in the continental USA, however, must be willing to travel 100% to customer locations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2-5 years’ experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment
Possess a valid driver's license
Experience in conveyor system layout, component pre-assembly, header steel installation, conveyor installation, guard rail, rack, air piping, detailing and run-in of installed equipment

Nice To Haves

Technical degree or specialized training preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Take personal responsibility for safety and the safety of others around
Complete assigned mechanical in tasks within allotted time and high quality as assigned by site supervision
Take direction from the site supervisor or foreman
Provide support to the site supervisor and foreman
Travel 100% to customer sites within the USA
Lift at least 50 lbs.
Push, pull, squat, crawl and walk around large construction sites in various climates and environments
