About The Position

Perfection Group is seeking a Mechanical HVAC Installer for its Mechanical Division in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role installs equipment, ductwork, and piping related to HVAC systems on industrial and commercial projects. Installers review blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturers’ recommendations to determine equipment configurations and ensure components are installed properly. The position involves assisting with ductwork and piping layouts and working with a range of sheet metal and piping connection types. Teamwork and safety are priorities; the successful candidate is ready to take instruction, work independently, arrive promptly, and contribute to a collaborative, family-oriented workplace. Flexibility to work on out-of-town projects is required. Employment is conditional on a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous HVAC trade experience.
Good driving record.
Flexibility to work on out-of-town projects.
Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Willingness to be a team member and work in a collaborative, family-oriented atmosphere.
Desire to learn and work in an environment where teamwork and safety are priorities.
Motivated self-starter willing to take instruction.

Nice To Haves

Some college or technical school training specific to the HVAC trade.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training.
Kentucky Journeyman’s license or other certifications.
General knowledge of basic sheet metal connection types, such as TDC and S&D.
General knowledge of piping and connection types, such as T&C, butt weld, socket weld, soldered, Zoom Lock, press fit, and Mega-Press.

Responsibilities

Review blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturers’ recommendations to determine HVAC equipment component configurations and ensure proper installation.
Assist with layout of sheet metal ductwork and/or piping for industrial and commercial installations.
Install HVAC-related equipment, ductwork, and piping on industrial and commercial projects.
Work safely and collaboratively, take instruction, and arrive promptly and ready to work.
