About The Position

Power Design is expanding into mechanical work and is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to provide critical leadership on new projects. The Foreman helps ensure projects maintain high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The role uses field technology, including a company-provided iPad and smartphone, and includes customized training courses at the company’s 16,000-square-foot training facility at its headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects.
• Proficient knowledge of the IECC, ICC, and ASHRAE Standards, local codes, and construction safety requirements.
• Proficient speaking, reading, and writing skills in English.
• At least basic computer and writing skills.
• Demonstrate and uphold Power Design’s core values: integrity, accountability, teamwork, innovation, and growth.

Nice To Haves

• OSHA 30 certification.
• Active journeyman or master license.
• Progressive leadership experience in mechanical, HVAC, or plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project Superintendent and other trades.
• Oversee the assigned scope, including management of material and manpower.
• Enforce and promote high quality and safety standards.
• Use company-provided technology to complete work on time and exceed customer expectations.
• Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on the designated scope.
