About The Position

This position will support the engineering team with activities such as calculations, drawings, design reviews, conducting lab tests, regression analysis, and automation. The Intern will be responsible for creating pressure vessel calculations using ASME codes, developing drawings, BOMs and design reviews for particular tasks, working with the engineering labs to schedule and run tests, creating templates, running regression analysis to develop predictability in shear pressures, and working with the engineering lab to automate tests. Other duties as assigned. The Intern will also learn about the design of pressure vessels using ASME codes, real-life testing on equipment, and automation.

Requirements

Currently enrolled and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical Engineering majors preferred.
Minimum GPA of 3.0.
Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.
Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
