Mechanical Engineering Intern
About The Position
AeroSpec, Inc. is looking for a motivated student to assist our Mechanical Engineering team. The ideal candidate would be someone that would be able to work year-round (at least 20 hours a week during the school year and 40 hours during the school breaks). In addition to hands-on training and real-life engineering experiences, the Mechanical Engineering Intern would receive company benefits such as paid sick time and 401(k) with company match! Requirements
- SolidWorks experience
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thrives working in a challenging, constantly changing environment
- Able to work with ambiguous instructions or assignments
Nice To Haves
- Interest in Industrial Automation or Manufacturing a plus
- Experience with engineering projects a plus
Responsibilities
- Assist the Mechanical Engineering team with design of custom automated equipment using SolidWorks
- Assist the Engineering and Operations teams with managing part lists and Bill of Materials (BOM's)
- Various other Engineering tasks
