About The Position

Garver's Buildings Team is seeking a motivated mechanical engineering or architectural engineering student with a mechanical emphasis as a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in Downtown Kansas City. The internship involves working alongside and being mentored by experienced building design professionals and industry leaders, learning about building mechanical systems, and gaining experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry. The Garver Launch Program is an immersive hands-on intern development program designed to elevate the summer experience. Interns will engage daily with fellow interns and industry professionals, participate in Garver's wellness program, give back to the community through volunteer activities, and enhance professional growth through tailored training and programs.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a mechanical engineering degree or an architectural engineering degree with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited program
Strong desire to pursue a career in building systems engineering
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
