Buildings Mechanical Engineering Intern
About The Position
Garver's Buildings Team is seeking a motivated mechanical engineering or architectural engineering student with a mechanical emphasis as a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in our Downtown Dallas office. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by experienced building design professionals and industry leaders, learn about building mechanical systems, and gain experience in the competitive consulting engineering industry. The Garver Launch Program is an immersive, hands-on intern development program designed to elevate the summer experience. Interns will engage daily with fellow interns and industry professionals to build their network, participate in Garver's acclaimed wellness program, give back to the community through volunteer activities as part of Garver Gives, and enhance professional growth by collaborating with Garver's Learning and Development team.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a mechanical engineering degree or an architectural engineering degree with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited program
- Strong desire to pursue a career in building systems engineering
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Experience with Revit
