Requirements

Enrolled in an ABET-accredited undergraduate or graduate program in Mechanical Engineering program.
Basic understanding and demonstrated interest in mechanical engineering design principles.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong data analysis, written, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu pdf reader, technical drawing reading, report writing & formatting skills.

Responsibilities

Support staff developing AutoCAD standards and design calculations for the hydropower team.
Learn and apply the technical requirements and design criteria for design projects.
Participate in technical meetings and discussions.
Field work and site visit opportunities available.
Prepare and present a PowerPoint summarizing the assigned tasks at the completion of the internship to hydropower team.
