Requirements
- Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
- Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
- Experience with mechanical hardware documentation or drawing standards.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Selected candidate will be subject to security investigations/reinstatements and must meet eligibility requirements.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1.
Nice To Haves
- Possess an active U.S. government issued Secret or Top Secret clearance.
- Familiarity with Solidworks is a plus.
- Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.
Responsibilities
- With technical supervision, apply research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems.
- Work with engineers and designers to produce models for components, parts, subassemblies, and assemblies.
- With technical oversight, execute tests for systems, subsystems, and components.
- Analyze test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives.
- Communicate effectively in a cross-functional team.
