About The Position

The Tactical Radars and Effectors department within Raytheon Hardware Engineering supports the development, production, and deployment of multiple defense products including radars, missiles, command and control systems, and naval electronics. The products support US Government and international customers. Requirements

Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical or related (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Experience with CREO
Experience with CAD software
Experience may be obtained through on‑the‑job experience, research, coursework, or projects
U.S. citizenship is required
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Responsibilities

Application of mechanical engineering fundamentals to challenging design problems
Creation or updates of technical documentation packages
Complete drawing designs as required, operates engineering software and equipment, and confers with stakeholders regarding engineering projects
Collaboration with hardware engineering teams
Technical research
Mechanical engineering design utilizing CAD software
Support to manufacturing and production
Application of Raytheon hardware design processes and tools
