About The Position

Carlson Design Group is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Mechanical-Engineering Associate to join our engineering team to be a part of our expanding business. You will work from the designs of others under supervision and perform routine and limited design assignments using prescribed methods. Requirements

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree.
• 2-3 years of related experience in a design firm, or education and project experience.
• Competency in Revit required.

Responsibilities

• Full-time employee on the path to licensure, works under the direction of others, participates in the development of design solutions, provides technical design support to the team, prepares systems design concepts and Construction Documents in compliance with project program and building design at the direction of the lead engineer.
• Coordinates designs with other disciplines, manufacturers and vendors, performs field surveys and observations in concert with the lead engineer, responsible for completeness and accuracy of construction documents and coordination with other disciplines.
