About The Position

The Engineering Professional – Mechanical Engineering plays a key role in supporting product development, design, sustaining engineering, and research & development activities. This position contributes to engineering projects of increasing complexity, applying technical expertise to improve product performance, manufacturability, and reliability while supporting business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and engineering organizations to deliver innovative solutions and ensure engineering excellence throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Have foundational technical expertise with experience in mechanical simulations and 3D modeling
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a results-driven mindset
• Possess effective written and verbal communication skills
• Have basic project management skills and the ability to support multiple priorities
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently while building strong peer relationships across functions
• Be action-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, ethics, and customer focus
• Show the ability to apply engineering principles to real-world product and design challenges
• Be comfortable working in a collaborative, team-based environment while taking ownership of assigned tasks

Responsibilities

• Supporting product development, sustaining engineering, design, and R&D activities across mechanical engineering projects
• Planning and conducting research, design, and development activities for standard engineering assignments
• Applying engineering techniques to solve technical challenges and develop sound design recommendations
• Evaluating engineering results for applicability, validity, and conformance to specifications and requirements
• Contributing to projects with moderate impact on product cost, performance, manufacturing methods, and standardization efforts
• Assisting in project planning, execution, and technical reviews to ensure successful project delivery
• Supporting larger projects or leading smaller projects under appropriate supervision
• Handling special engineering assignments and driving solutions that require creativity and technical judgment
• Collaborating with other engineering disciplines, support organizations, and suppliers to ensure successful integration and execution
• Providing guidance and work direction to less experienced engineers and technicians when required
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engineering processes, quality, and product performance
