About The Position

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which supports manufacturing and supply chain across Blue Origin facilities. As part of a team of engineers, the Mechanical Engineer designs, analyzes, and releases ground support equipment (GSE) and tooling for the Engines, Lunar, and New Glenn business units. The work addresses manufacturing and handling challenges across a wide range of hardware and supports delivery of development and flight hardware. The role calls for technical expertise, leadership, and commitment to quality, safety, and the development of rocket hardware and safe human spaceflight. The engineer designs production, development, test, integration, and advanced manufacturing equipment; manages projects from vendor selection through fabrication, inspection, installation, proof testing, and commissioning; and maintains schedules and budgets. The position is listed as late career, has an A shift of 8 a.m.–5 p.m., and relocation is provided. Multiple positions are available.
