About The Position

The Mechanical Engineer will assist industrial and mechanical project teams in the design and implementation of refinery-based mechanical projects. The role is based on-site in the Corpus Christi, Texas area and is a direct-hire position. The employer is seeking a self-motivated engineer with 5–7 years of experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 5 years of mechanical engineering experience; 5–7 years of experience is stated for the role.
• Project management experience, including leading engineering projects and coordinating teams.
• Knowledge of pressure safety valve (PSV) sizing, pumps, compressors, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to interpret pump and compressor curves and understand API seal plans.
• Experience with industrial piping, pipe stress analysis using CAESAR II, and flow calculations.
• Knowledge of ASME codes for process piping and pressure vessels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational, communication, and client relationship skills.

Nice To Haves

• Mechanical engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license; preferred but not required.
• AutoCAD experience.
