Your Role as Mechanical Engineer (Mine Hoist) Reporting to the Supervisor of Mine Hoist Mechanical Engineering Services, you will be part of a highly specialized team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Designers within the Mine Hoist Division—operating as Spencer Engineering, a globally recognized leader in mine hoist engineering. In this role, you will contribute to the engineering of mechanical components of mine hoisting systems. You will independently perform calculations, support the development of mechanical designs, and lead small-to-medium scale projects. Your work will include developing engineering deliverables, conducting site visits for inspections and data collection, and supporting project coordination across multiple active engagements. This position offers exposure to complex engineering tasks and provides opportunities to apply and expand your knowledge of mechanical systems in mining operations.
