About The Position
This position provides direction and execution of improvement projects within the department. The Mechanical Engineer will develop effective improvements, take direction of improvements and projects from the Plant Manager, and report project status monthly. The role also involves any other duties assigned by the Plant Manager.
Requirements
- Graduate of 4-year college with emphasis in Engineering or equivalent experience in industry
- Must be familiar with report writing and preparation
- Proficient English communications skills
- Training and demonstrated computer skills
- Proficient in CAD and Drawing Parts
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance
- Demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress
- Foster productive workplace interactions

- Project coordination from inception to completion
Responsibilities
- Develop effective improvements throughout the department
