You’ll help bring mechanical designs from concept through fabrication and testing, working under the direction of senior engineers. Requirements

  • Motivated Mechanical Engineer
  • Ability to bring mechanical designs from concept through fabrication and testing
  • Ability to work under the direction of senior engineers
  • Experience creating CAD parts and assemblies
  • Experience contributing to technical data packages
  • Experience coordinating with vendors and manufacturers
  • Experience with prototype assembly, integration, and testing of hardware
  • Ability to participate in customer and team meetings and report task status
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Support the design of automated test hardware for land-based testing of naval systems and underwater applications.
  • Create CAD parts and assemblies and contribute to technical data packages.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to keep assemblies and deliverables on schedule.
  • Assist with prototype assembly, integration, and testing of hardware.
  • Participate in customer and team meetings and report task status.
  • Manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
