About The Position

This is an entry-level Mechanical Engineer position where the individual will be capable of performing assigned work under the mentorship of a Design Engineer, Lead Engineer, Project Engineer, or Manager. The role typically involves designing single elements such as pumps, heat exchangers, or performing piping/line sizing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (four year college or university)
• 0 - 2 years related experience
• Ability to accept responsibility and account for his/her actions.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
• Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
• Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of client, industry, regulatory and other guidelines, codes, etc.
• Develop engineering calculations using scope and criteria provided, with minimal direction.
• Design systems.
• Prepare design calculations as directed for criteria provided.
• Perform other technical assignments as directed.
• Develop ability to coordinate efforts of drafting.
