About The Position

Diversified Services Network, Inc. (DSN) is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer (Manufacturing Support) to join our team in Seguin, TX! This position will be supporting engine product development and manufacturing integration as part of a cross-functional engineering support team. This team is responsible for collaborating with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot production and build issues, perform root cause analysis, and support solutions that improve safety, quality, and manufacturing on current products. It also supports new product introduction through coordination of on-engine fit-ups, design-for-manufacturing input during prototype and pilot builds, and documentation of build issues for off-site design teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field with 1–2+ years of relevant experience; OR an Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
  • Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software.
  • Respond to inquiries and support requests from quality and manufacturing teams.
  • Gather and communicate technical information from manufacturing and quality teams to collaborate with off-site product design teams.
  • Coordinate fit-up activities for new product and component designs.
  • Partner with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and support solutions related to safety, quality, and production efficiency.
  • Support prototype and pilot builds for new product introduction (NPI) programs by providing design-for-manufacturing feedback.
  • Document build issues, symptoms, and technical details for communication to off-site product design teams.
