About The Position

ENERCON's Data Center Mission Critical (DCMC) group provides client-centric engineering design services specializing in enterprise, co-location, and hyper-scale design. They offer flexible, scalable solutions for mission-critical facilities and data centers, focusing on energy efficiency and operational reliability. Their services include pre- and post-construction design engineering, site evaluations, and infrastructure optimization. The DCMC group ensures transparent collaboration throughout all project phases, from assessment and planning to execution, with a focus on cohesion, accuracy, and adherence to schedule and budget. Their expertise covers electrical, mechanical, structural, and civil engineering, commissioning, acceptance testing, and construction management. This internship offers the opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team shaping the future of power generation. Interns will work on real projects, designing and evaluating systems for critical facilities, including those in the nuclear sector. Requirements

Graduating with a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET- accredited school in Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred grad date between December 2027 and June 2028.
Available to start on an agreed upon date between May 2027 and June 2027.
A solid working foundation with your major’s core concepts.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite.
Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
Ability to effectively problem solve.
Must be able to climb stairs and ladders at client sites.
Must be able to effectively navigate client sites to conduct walkdowns.
Must be able to work outside.
Ability and willingness to travel for client and company projects and/or meetings.
Completion of pre interview assessments.
College transcript submitted for anyone under 1 year of experience post-graduation.
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol screenings, ENERCON and client-specific background checks, and annual motor vehicle record (MVR) checks according to company and client policies.
