About The Position

The Mechanical Engineer - Integrity, Maintenance, Reliability position is the intermediate level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Employees in the Engineer II position solve complex problems in engineering areas of specialization Mechanical Engineering with general supervision. An Engineer II is expected to develop advanced skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. An Engineer II effectively applies fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied. This position is on-site at a refinery for a large global operator. It is a full-time, permanent position.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience
Familiarity with refineries is preferred
Mechanical engineering, integrity, inspection, or closely related field required
Bachelors or Masters degree
Demonstrated experience and familiarity with pressure vessels, storage tanks, and pipelines
Working knowledge of AMSE codes and API standards
Strong technical knowledge in applicable field Mechanical Engineering
Analytical/investigation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High energy, customer-focused and a positive, success-oriented attitude

Responsibilities

Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates
Working on scope specific to pressure vessels, storage tanks, and pipelines
Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan
Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery
Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies, internal and external stakeholders, etc.
Other work duties as assigned.
