Mechanical Reliability Engineer

Cantor Fitzgerald•Midland, TX

About The Position

The Reliability Engineer improves operational reliability across office and R&D facilities in the Gulf Coast. The role drives equipment reliability improvements by analyzing performance data to identify, prioritize, and eliminate causes of equipment failures. Mechanical systems are the initial emphasis, but all equipment types requiring reliability improvement are considered. The engineer uses cross-functional teams as technical resources to develop solutions and serves as a mechanical technical resource for the Maintenance and Facilities department. Limited travel for training, meetings, and equipment supplier visits may be required. The role works to shift sites from reactive to preventive maintenance, manages preventive maintenance for rotating equipment, and coordinates predictive maintenance technologies. It also supports equipment-performance analysis, failure investigations, maintenance procedures and training, engineering solutions to maintenance problems, project equipment selection and maintainability, and routine equipment checks by technicians. Working conditions are described as normal, without disagreeable elements. The responsibilities listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of the work and are not exhaustive. Newmark is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
