Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, Associate's degree (2-year) with experience from accredited program (ABET/EAC), or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- 3+ years’ work experience as a Mechanical Engineer
- Experienced with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD)
- Proficient in the application of standard and advanced engineering principles, practices, and procedures
- Breadth and depth of experience to enterprise engineering problems
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish tasks
- Able to quickly recognize and fix common engineering problems based on experience, including review and critique of others' work
Nice To Haves
- FE Exam, or EIT desirable
- Current or prior JR Automation experience, or experience in the automation industry is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops deep knowledge and skills in a specific practice area
- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform a task or sequence of tasks for conventional projects with few complex features
- Collaboratively uses judgement to determine adaptations in methods for nonroutine aspects of assignments
