Our Mechanical Engineering team is responsible for delivering the physical housing and infrastructure that power Cisco's global services. Requirements

Currently enrolled in one of the following: An undergraduate degree program (Associate's or Bachelor's) with 2 years of work experience ; or A Master’s degree program with 0 years of work experience.
Qualifying education should be in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Expected to continue enrollment in degree program following completion of the internship.
Previous experience with CAD design tools, mechanical systems, or hardware packaging in an academic, project, or professional capacity.
Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and technical problem-solving.

Nice To Haves

Experience performing mechanical simulations or utilizing analysis software tools.
Familiarity with prototype fabrication techniques such as 3D printing or precision machining.
Exposure to hardware testing and debugging methodologies in a laboratory setting.
Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and generate detailed technical drawings.
Ability to actively contribute to the goals of multi-functional project teams.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and analysis of mechanical systems and packaging.
Participate in feasibility studies and testing for new and modified designs.
Prepare detailed design documentation for product fabrication.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams to resolve infrastructural specifications.
