About The Position

Saab, Inc. is in search of a motivated, enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering student who is interested in applying their studies to real-world product development through a paid Co-Op/ Internship opportunity for Summer 2027 (May - August).
Requirements
- Enrollment in an accredited degree program focused in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Completed Sophomore year or greater at time of hire.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Applicants selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Solidworks is desired.
- Prior Co-Op experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in the hardware development for Radar systems.
- Work with senior mechanical engineers to design and develop models and drawings for various Radar systems.
- Assist in the development of thermal and structural analysis reports.
- Participate in internal technical meetings and design reviews.
- Collaborate with mechanical lead for task planning and scheduling of own activities.
