About The Position

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer 3 to join our team. This role involves supporting prototype project teams with design, build, and test phases, troubleshooting equipment, tracking inventory, and providing logistics support. The goal is to enable rapid prototype delivery for high-velocity and high-priority projects while maintaining safety and efficiency. You will also engage with partner team engineers to develop best practices for prototype designs and manufacturing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience
• Proficiency in CAD design
• Mechanic and Fabrication skills
• CNC machinery operations and diagnostics
• Microsoft Suite skills
• Creo design, Creo Simulate, DFMA/design for prototyping

Nice To Haves

• Prefer ME, EE, Software Controls, Industrial Eng degrees
• Open to a 2-year degree with 9 years of experience in an applicable tech area
• Master's degree with 5 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Support partner engineering teams with rapid design, analysis, and prototype manufacturing of electrified machines and systems.
• Operate and maintain prototyping machinery including 3D printers, CNC cutting/milling/welding, and electrical cable/harness fabrication.
• Troubleshoot equipment, track prototype inventory, and provide logistics support.
• Enable prototype delivery for high-velocity and high-priority projects while working safely and efficiently.
• Engage with partner team engineers to develop best practices for prototype designs and manufacturing.
