About The Position
The Mechanical Engineer 2 provides engineering support for the G3600/C280 Engine Current Product. The role focuses on resolving factory issues, supporting Built in Quality projects, reviewing engine orders and updating them to improved designs, and collaborating with design teams to approve and implement changes into production. The position works with Engineering Design Teams, the Shop Quality Team, and the Operations Team.
Requirements
- A four-year engineering degree is required.
- Mechanical or engine knowledge, including knowledge of engines, automotive, or farming equipment.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative team.
Nice To Haves
- One to four years of mechanical design experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
- Associate degree plus four years of experience.
- Cat experience.
- Mechanical design experience.
- Experience with CREO/3D CAD.
- Experience with TeaCliententer Visualization.
