About The Position

Solid State Devices, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanical Equipment Technician to join their Wafer Fabrication production support team. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of complex manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent experience
• 3 years of hands-on technical experience

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of production equipment and electronic controls
• Knowledge of high temperature furnace applications
• Water cooling and chilling systems
• Knowledge of vacuum systems, cryo, and pumps
• Experience with temperature controllers
• Able to read and understand schematics

Responsibilities

• Maintain and Repair Production Equipment
• Installation and upgrades of older equipment
• Assemble/Repair/Replace Fixtures (test sockets, cables, etc.)
• Perform ESD and grounding check of production work Benches and equipment
• Coordinate with Suppliers / Vendors on equipment, supplies, and service
• Perform Preventive Maintenance on Production Equipment
