About The Position

The Mechanical Drafter drafts and models tooling, tool layouts, and fixture drawings for newly purchased machines and processes. The role expands tool-design drafting capabilities by supporting tool design engineering with drawings and modeling, and supports Manufacturing Engineers in validating and developing technical documentation related to new machine acquisitions. Typical tasks include converting supplier drawings to company standards, discussing priorities with a manager, and assisting Manufacturing Engineers with layouts. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is available for eligible and qualified individuals.

Requirements

• High school education and at least 1 year of similar experience.
• Demonstrated drafting and 3-D modeling skills.
• Ability to read and interpret a technical drawing.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks with minimal follow-up once trained.
• AutoCAD skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
