About The Position

Re:Build Optimation is seeking an early-career Mechanical Drafter to turn engineering concepts and designer markups into accurate, fabrication-ready drawings. The role supports custom equipment, skid-mounted and modular systems, and industrial process equipment, with the opportunity to develop toward a mechanical or piping designer role. The position is based onsite in Rochester and/or Rush, New York, with occasional travel to customer and supplier locations. The drafter will create 2D drawings, 3D models, assembly documentation, bills of materials, drawing packages, and other engineering documentation. Working with designers, engineers, manufacturing, and fabrication teams, the drafter will support design development, revisions, and troubleshooting during equipment fabrication and assembly. The role also includes participating in design reviews and contributing to improvements in drafting processes, design tools, and documentation standards.
