About The Position

As a Mechanical Designer at Advanced Material Handling, you will play a vital role in our engineering and design team. Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in mechanical design, preferably in material handling or a similar industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Work closely with the fabrication, sales, and engineering teams to translate customer requirements into feasible designs.
• Analyze project blueprints and customer requirements to ensure the accuracy and functionality of designs.
• Identify and resolve design challenges to optimize efficiency and manufacturability.
• Conduct design reviews to verify accuracy, compliance with standards, and readiness for production.
• Maintain and update technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and revision records.
• Recommend and implement design improvements to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
