About The Position

The Mechanical Designer III is responsible for developing SolidWorks 3D models and associated 2D drawings for existing and new products. This role also involves creating drawings to assist manufacturing with tools, jigs, and fixtures, troubleshooting installation issues and recommending solutions, and selecting compatible vendor hardware/parts. The position requires organizing and maintaining drawing file configurations, processing engineering changes and corrective actions, and revising drawings based on input from engineering and production personnel. Additionally, the Mechanical Designer III will create product illustrated parts diagrams and write product manuals.

Requirements

• Develop SolidWorks 3D models and associated 2D drawings for existing and new products.
• Create drawings to assist manufacturing with tools, jigs, fixtures.

• Ability to select vendor hardware/parts that are compatible with systems and customer requirements.
