About The Position

This role focuses on developing new and innovative products and technologies through analytical skills, reasoning, and engineering judgment. The intern will design various components, collaborate with global teams, support product testing, solve quality issues, provide engineering support for existing products, and interact with multiple departments and customers on technical matters. The position also involves identifying and implementing product and process cost reductions and improvements.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor’s in engineering
Zero (0) years of related experience
Ability to work full-time (40 hours) per week in-person
Legal authorization to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

GPA of 3.0 or above
Prior internship experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

Use analytical skills, reasoning, and engineering judgment to develop new and innovative products and technologies
Design components including injection molded plastics, die and investment castings, stampings, machined parts, etc.
Collaborate with global, cross-functional project teams to ensure new designs meet internal requirements and industry standards
Support prototype construction, laboratory testing, and agency testing during the product design cycle
Apply sound engineering practices to solve quality issues
Provide continuation engineering support for existing products
Interact with software, electrical, manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, sales, and customers on technical matters
Identify and implement product and process cost reductions and improvements
