About The Position

The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, validating, and supporting mechanical components and systems for power electronics and electric drive products. This role involves CAD design using Creo, testing, manufacturing support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 4+ years of mechanical design/product development experience.
• Creo CAD design and 3D modeling.
• GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Mechanical design and product development.
• Design validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Thermal and vibration analysis/testing.
• Manufacturing processes and supplier collaboration.
• Engineering documentation and change management.
• Cross-functional product development support.

Nice To Haves

• Power electronics or electric drive systems experience.
• FEA/CFD analysis (ANSYS preferred).
• Thermal management and cooling system design.
• DFMEA, DVP&R, and reliability engineering knowledge.
• New product development (NPD) experience.
• Heavy equipment, automotive, or electrification industry experience.
• Strong problem-solving and project coordination skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, validates, and supports mechanical components and systems for power electronics/electric drive products.

• Drives product improvements.
• Provides manufacturing and supplier support throughout the product development lifecycle.
