About The Position

The Mechanical Design Engineer position provides the successful candidate with an immediate opportunity to be involved with technology that helps save lives, improve patient outcomes, and reduce the cost of medicine around the world. Your role: Solution creation through detailed design of mechanical hardware and components with consideration of performance, cost, manufacturability, and reliability. Completing detailed 3D models/drawings and ensuring requirements for functional performance are adequately captured. Developing new processes, methods, and ways of working.

Requirements

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
2+ years of practical experience designing/developing hardware and leveraging engineering principles in the new product introduction environment
Familiarity with readily available off the shelf hardware components such as pneumatic fittings, fastener systems and O-ring seals
Highly organized & detail-oriented team player with a strong emphasis on creative problem solving.
US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
Must reside in or within commuting distance to Latham, NY
