About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking Experienced and Senior Level Mechanical Design Engineers to support the Environmental Test Design Engineering team in Berkeley, Missouri. The primary focus is supporting St. Louis Environmental Lab testing for local Boeing Defense & Space programs. Design engineers partner with laboratory test teams to provide designs and hardware needed to conduct testing across capabilities including vibration and structural dynamics, acoustics, airflow and fuel-flow systems, high-temperature flow impingement, and environmental control chambers that vary temperature, humidity, and pressure. The team designs and modifies test articles, fixtures, and support structures that integrate with laboratory facilities. Projects range from adapters and fixtures to full test rigs and complete aircraft subsystems with supporting structures. Designs include interfaces with facility infrastructure such as supplied pressure, heating and cooling, power, hydraulics, and instrumentation. Engineers also support fabrication, installation, connection, inspection, and acceptance/check-out to deliver test-ready hardware. The team supports military aircraft and weapons programs including T-7A, F-15, F/A-18, MQ-25, JDAM, SDB, and Phantom Works proprietary efforts. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance and applicable program access. A final U.S. Secret Clearance is required post-start. The position is not contingent upon a program award. Boeing does not sponsor employment visas.
