About The Position

This is a hybrid role which requires two days per week in-office. We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join TLC Engineering Solutions (TLC) in Sarasota, FL. The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for all sizes and types of projects from concept to completion of construction with the benefit of in-house coordination with multiple other disciplines. You will lead the project in all facets by interfacing with clients, providing technical excellence, and managing the project team and schedule to achieve a successful project outcome. TLC provides a defined career path and training at all levels.

Requirements

A minimum of 9 years of experience in the architectural engineering consulting environment
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Demonstrated success in delivering quality projects utilizing design and calculation software
Experience working as part of a team and developing other team members
Technical expertise in mechanical discipline demonstrated through engagement in internal or external content development, presentations, etc.
Capability to drive efficiency within mechanical discipline

Responsibilities
