About The Position

Indotronix is seeking an Onsite Mechanical Design Engineer Level 2 to work within the Client Design group in Chandler, Arizona. The role involves creating drawing/design packages, ensuring compliance with industry and military standards, and reviewing designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and economy of fabrication. This includes tolerance analysis, hardware selection, and fitment on assembly prints. The engineer will resolve GD&T interpretation issues, verify 3D models using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter, and liaise with various engineering disciplines, Manufacturing, Quality, and vendors.

Requirements

• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Windows and NX 2412 as required.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately while under schedule pressure and exhibit a large degree of patience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Well-versed in GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Create and review mechanical drawings with appropriate personnel verifying completed work, checking dimensions, materials and quantities to be used.
• Mechanical modeling using NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter.
• Create/Revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME 3D modeling and drawing standards.
• As requested, may supervise and direct the activities of staff.
• Perform related duties as assigned or required.
