About The Position

As a part of our global Aftermarket Overhaul and Repair (O&R) service team, the O&R Project Manager Project Engineer will support all Overhaul and Repair orders (paid and warranty orders). O&R PM/PE provides factory support to our customers and channel partners and communicates with internal departments, necessary for the repair of customer’s Sundyne pump or compressor to ensure on-time delivery is met. The engineer will become technically familiar with all Sundyne products and work closely with customers providing technical expertise, troubleshooting, failure analysis reports and identifying potential engineered solutions for customers. You will report directly to our Aftermarket Engineering Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Colorado location on an On-Site work schedule.

Requirements

Four year college degree or technical training or 4 years of direct experience in rotating equipment.
1+ years of experience in rotating equipment experience.

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical, Chemical, or related engineering degree
Preferred experience of 1-2 years working within an industrial manufacturing environment or with rotating equipment
Strong Customer Focus with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; CAD or SolidWorks experience preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
Working knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and P&IDs.
Self-directed and highly motivated, working both independently and collaboratively with other team members
Ability to work well under pressure within a reactive type role
Flexibility to work multiple projects at varying stages of completion and multitask

Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service to customers, channel partners, and internal teams to maintain high satisfaction.
Communicate professionally with customers, job site personnel, and internal departments.
Develop and apply technical knowledge of Sundyne products, including sizing, unit conversions, assembly/disassembly, and engineering software.
Generate competitive repair packages and present to customers.
Plan, process, track, status, report and expedite all job routings, both paid (repairs and conversion) and warranty, throughout the Sundyne manufacturing process. Providing status updates to customers and management on status.
Troubleshooting and failure analysis of malfunctioning equipment, and generating customer reports to document failure mode.
Provide technical support, answer proposal-related questions, modify proposals as needed, and participate in technical discussions to secure orders.
Manage multiple high-priority projects and customer requests simultaneously.
Assist with part compatibility, replacement selection, and component design for Honeywell Sundyne affiliates.
Collaborate with internal teams on quotations, proposals, and order execution.
Review customer purchase orders for compliance with quoted equipment and specifications.
Position may require travel to support sales channel and customers (less than 5%).
Follow all safety regulations, complete required training, and submit accurate documentation on time.
