AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Plumbing Designer with a passion for BIM to join their team. This role is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers and all associated equipment. The Mechanical BIM team designs complex projects with innovative solutions for Amazon-owned Data Center facilities, providing support to the Central Engineering Team through the preparation of Mechanical & Plumbing BIM models, construction documents, and leveraging BIM data. The role influences Data Center design documents for various systems including Air Handling Units, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Control Systems, Fire Detection/Suppression systems, and Piping and Plumbing systems. The position also involves producing, maintaining, and publishing permit Mechanical Engineering drawing sets for the fleet of Data Centers.
