About The Position

Larson Systems Inc. is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined person to join its assembly team. The company manufactures commercial kennel products and spring testing equipment, and this position assembles products from both product lines. The role involves hands-on assembly work in a manufacturing shop, using tools and following technical documents and instructions. The starting wage is $20 per hour and may be higher based on directly related experience. Occasional travel for customer-site installations and obtaining a CDL are not required but are preferred.

Requirements

Good mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hands.
Experience using common hand and power tools.
Ability to read basic drawings and blueprints.
Dependability and ability to work independently once trained.
Attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
Willingness to learn different products and types of assembly.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, reach, and work with hands throughout the shift.
Comfort working in a manufacturing or shop environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous assembly, manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or other hands-on experience is preferred.
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer-site installations.
Willingness to obtain a CDL.

Responsibilities

Assemble kennel products, spring testers, and related parts and components.
Use hand and power tools to complete assembly work.
Read and follow drawings, blueprints, parts lists, and work instructions.
Measure, fit, and fasten parts accurately.
Inspect completed work to ensure products are assembled correctly and meet quality standards.
Work with others in the shop to resolve questions or problems.
Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
Assist with other assembly and production work as needed.
