About The Position

We’re looking for a Machine Builder in our Mechanical Assembly Department who takes pride in precision, problem-solving, and craftsmanship. From machining parts to assembling ultrasonic punching and welding systems, you’ll play a key role in bringing advanced equipment to life—both in our facility and at customer sites around the US and the world. MS Ultrasonic Technology, LLC offers customers a wide variety of solutions in the field of ultrasonic technologies: from ultrasonic components and ultrasonic systems to ultrasonic special machines and servo presses. MS Ultrasonic Technology, LLC is part of MS Ultrasonic Technology Group.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years building machines in an automotive or similar environment
  • Proven experience in safety operating various machining tools
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be flexible and able to move between work environments with little notice.
  • Must be able to think logically and quickly while maintaining a calm demeanor.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to read blue prints
  • Technical school certification in robotics, automation, mechatronics, or related field

Responsibilities

  • Assembles units or support structures and installs components, units, etc. for ultrasonic punching/welding machines
  • Mechanical assembly of components and assemblies of ultrasonic punching/welding machines
  • Machining of parts using mills, lathe, saw, welders, etc.
  • Pneumatic plumbing to print
  • Adjust feed units, punches and sliders
  • Welding feasibility and testing
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical and pneumatics
  • Operate machines, align, fit and assemble component parts
  • Test performance of assembly unit using test instruments
  • Repair, rework and calibrate assemblies to meet operational specifications and tolerances
  • Verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
  • Inspect parts/machines for surface defects, analyze and record test results where applicable and prepare written documentation.
  • Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams and technical orders to determine method and sequence of assembly
  • Travel to customer facilities required to address machine concerns/repairs/start up.
  • Work with a team and in high stress environments
