About The Position

Driverge Vehicle Innovations is the country’s leading builder of commercial shuttles, wheelchair accessible vans, transporters, and small buses. They service vehicle conversions for Healthcare, Fleet Services, Personal & Medical Aid customers, and provide camper vans for travel and recreation. This role is for a Mechanical Assembly Fabricator who will play a vital role in transforming vehicles to accommodate various mobility needs. The primary responsibility will be to perform sheet metal fabrications, welding 14-gauge materials, and installing seat and track tiles while adhering to the provided blueprints. Additionally, the fabricator will be responsible for cutting into the side and/or floor of the vehicle to create new door openings or frames to support wheelchair positions.

Requirements

Perform sheet metal fabrications based on provided blueprints.
Weld 14-gauge materials.
Install seat and track tiles.
Cut into the side and/or floor of the vehicle to create new door openings or frames.
Protect OEM interior components during the modification process.

Responsibilities
