In addition, we provide innovative solutions for clients across North America with camper vans for travel and recreation. Driverge Vehicle Innovations, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Fabricator. As a Mechanical Assembly Fabricator at Driverge Vehicle Innovations, you will play a vital role in transforming vehicles to accommodate various mobility needs. Your primary responsibility will be to perform sheet metal fabrications, welding 14-gauge materials, and installing seat and track tiles while adhering to the provided blueprints. Additionally, you will be responsible for cutting into the side and/or floor of the vehicle to create new door openings or frames to support wheelchair positions.
Responsibilities
- Perform sheet metal fabrications based on provided blueprints.
- Weld 14-gauge materials to ensure structural integrity.
- Install seat and track tiles with precision.
- Safely cut into the side and/or floor of the vehicle to create new door openings or frames.
- Ensure the protection of OEM interior components during the modification process.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
