Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Mechanical Assemblers for projects located in the Denver, CO area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $20-28/hour based on experience and skill level. • Experience with forklifts, overhead cranes, or similar lifting equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies used in electrical power distribution equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, technical drawings, and layout instructions
• Work with materials including: Sheet metal, Structural steel, Cable tray, Mechanical framing, Electrical equipment enclosures
• Measure, align, fit, and fasten components accurately
• Drill and tap electrical equipment and structural components
• Support assembly of equipment including: Low- and medium-voltage MCCs, Switchgear, UPS systems, Power distribution assemblies, Custom modular equipment
• Use hand tools, power tools, drills, taps, grinders, and measuring equipment
• Perform layout and fitting based on drawings and templates
• Inspect completed parts and assemblies for fit, quality, and defects
• Repair or replace defective components when necessary
• Assist with prototype builds and custom fabrication projects
• Support process improvements and new assembly methods
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
