About The Position
RQ Construction is hiring experienced Mechanical & Piping Insulators to join our team on active projects at Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base, GA and Jacksonville, FL. This role involves building critical infrastructure on high-profile military construction projects. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4+ years of commercial mechanical or piping insulation experience
Nice To Haves
- Apprenticeship or trade school training preferred
- Government, military, or large commercial construction experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Install insulation on piping, ductwork, and mechanical equipment
- Ensure installations meet project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards
- Work safely on active construction sites while supporting mission-critical facilities
