About The Position

Sampson Regional Medical Center is hiring a Mechanic to join the Plant Operations team! The selected candidate will perform a variety of complex duties required in installing, maintaining, repairing and inspecting plumbing, electrical, refrigeration and mechanical items, and other equipment throughout the hospital and hospital owned facilities. Will also be responsible for grounds maintenance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license with no violations within the past 3 years
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must be able to demonstrate skills and knowledge of various trades
• Requires the physical ability to operate all equipment
• Must be familiar with tools, safety precautions and regulations

Nice To Haves

• Technical training certificate preferred
