About The Position

This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on pumps and other equipment, both in a shop setting and in the field. The Mechanic will act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to ensure customer expectations regarding equipment maintenance and repair are met. A key part of the job is troubleshooting rental equipment to restore it to operational status efficiently. The position requires maintaining professional and ethical business relationships, accurately completing service tickets and documentation, and coordinating with the team for parts and equipment logistics. The Mechanic will also champion safety, ensuring all work is performed safely, and continuously expand their knowledge of company products and capabilities. Maintaining a clean work environment and performing other assigned duties are also part of the role.

Requirements

2 years’ experience as a Mechanic is required.
Must be mechanically inclined with mechanical background and knowledge of various motors and engines.
Must be able to travel locally and regionally.
Must have a valid state driver’s license with a moderately clean driving record.
Must be able to frequently lift 50+ lbs.

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance and repairs of pumps and other equipment in both the shop and in the field.
Act as a liaison between customers, and other departments of the branch, to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded in terms of rental equipment maintenance and repair.
Trouble shoot all rental equipment for most efficient way to get equipment back online.
Maintain professional and ethical business relationships with all customers and co-workers following the established company policies and procedures.
Produce all required service tickets and/or documentation accurately, completely, and in a timely manner.
Communicates with team for coordinating delivery and pickup of parts, equipment, and accessories.
Be an ambassador for safety, making sure all work is done in the safest manner.
Continuous growth of knowledge for all Company products, inventory, and delivery capabilities
Maintain a clean work environment.
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by Management.
