The Mechanic must have diesel engine and hydraulic system experience. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various types of machinery including hydraulic systems, diesel equipment, electrical systems, and excavators. The position requires the ability to perform repairs on engines, cooling systems, drivetrains, brakes, and basic electrical components. Additionally, the mechanic will be responsible for removing and replacing parts of hydraulic systems and tool attachments, as well as some body parts and covers. The role also includes limited torch cutting and welding, driving a company mechanic truck, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the work area.
