The mechanic performs preventative maintenance inspections, diagnoses and repairs minor to complex coach problems; assists other mechanics, and helps to ensure a work environment that meets safety and regulatory standards for Keolis Transit North America. This role involves performing preventative maintenance inspections on all types and classes of coaches, reviewing repair manuals, and conducting inspections and repairs on various vehicle components. The mechanic must also possess computer skills for diagnosing coach sub-components and use diagnostic equipment to inspect and verify problems. Responsibilities include cleaning, repairing, and replacing coach equipment, testing coaches, filling out work orders, assisting other mechanics, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Other duties may be assigned.
